Depuis 2015, le Pape François invite chaque catholique à participer au « Temps pour la Création » initié en 2007 par les Églises orthodoxes. Cette initiative est aujourd’hui portée de façon œcuménique avec tous nos frères et sœurs chrétiens : qu’attendons-nous pour les rejoindre sur le chemin d’une conversion écologique en profondeur ?

Quelques propositions
Une façon simple est sans doute de se renseigner auprès de son diocèse pour connaître les événements locaux. On peut aussi souhaiter célébrer ce Temps pour la Création à un moment ou à un autre du mois. Pour cela, des ressources sont disponibles en ligne. Par exemple, pour préparer une messe en communauté, avec la paroisse ou une aumônerie, on pourra explorer avec profit ces propositions.
Intentions de prière
On pourra aussi, lors de cette Eucharistie ou d’un office communautaire, prier avec les intentions suivantes :
Seigneur, durant ce Temps pour la Création, nous te rendons grâce pour la vie que tu donnes par amour à chacune de tes créatures. Aide nous à cultiver cette attitude de gratitude, à en faire le terreau de notre conversion écologique. Dieu Créateur et Sauveur, entends notre prière.
Seigneur, devant la gravité de la crise écologique et sociale à laquelle nous contribuons en partie, accorde-nous la grâce de nous reconnaître pécheurs, pardonnés. Que l’accueil de ta miséricorde nous entraîne vers une conversion personnelle et communautaire toujours plus profonde. Dieu Créateur et Sauveur, entends notre prière.
Seigneur, l’année qui s’ouvre sera l’occasion de plusieurs rendez-vous importants pour que nos sociétés décident ensemble de prendre soin de la maison commune : Congrès de l’UICN à Marseille en Septembre, COP 26 sur le climat à Glasgow en Novembre, COP 15 sur la biodiversité en Chine au printemps… Ouvre les cœurs de nos responsables politiques pour qu’ils entendent la clameur de la terre et la clameur des pauvres, et qu’ils y répondent généreusement. Dieu Créateur et Sauveur, entends notre prière.
Seigneur, nous te confions notre petite Compagnie et tous ses collaborateurs et collaboratrices dans la mission du Christ. Accorde nous de savoir répondre ensemble à l’appel de la 4ème Préférence Apostolique Universelle à « Travailler avec d’autres pour la sauvegarde de notre Maison commune ».
